Bridget Leak is a freelance director and co-founder of Queen City Flash which produces Flashmobs, Social Justice Plays and Community-Centric Theatre.  

Queen City Flash recently received a grant from Cradle Cincinnati, ArtsWave and LISC to help mothers in Cincinnati neighborhoods craft a personal narrative that addresses community, the challenges of motherhood and the need for support.

Her production of Slut Shaming was the 2014 winner of the Artists' Pick of the Fringe and her subsequent production at Xavier University in 2016 won the Ignatian Medal for Outstanding Commitment to Diversity and Social Justice Award.

She is the director and producer of THE COMPLETE TOM; a new four play cycle that presents all of Mark Twain's works on Tom Sawyer at various non-traditional and outdoor venues in Cincinnati.

Bridget Leak was featured in American Theatre Magazine, "Role Call: Theatre Workers You Should Know." Previous honors include; S.D.C.F. Denham Fellow, Cincinnati Art Ambassador Fellowship, Lincoln Center Directors Lab alum, Artist in Residence at Robert Wilson's The Watermill Center, Directing Fellow at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, a Sir Gielgud Fellowship finalist and a S.D.C.F Observer (Cleveland Play House and Round House Theatre). She is a proud member of S.D.C.

Bridget has an M.F.A. in Directing from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University.

She currently calls Cincinnati home with her husband, playwright-composer Trey Tatum and puppy "Pocket." #ADirectorsLife
